Kelley, Rick

Over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry including 23 years at Buck’s Automotive in Tucson, AZ where he specialized in drivability and electrical. As a Mobile Diagnostic technician and trainer, he brings his firsthand knowledge to the classroom. National Champion in the VICA Skill Olympics (now SkillsUSA) during high school, continued his education at Arizona Automotive Institute on scholarship. Competed in the ACDelco Technician of the Millennium contest from 1999-2003 placed in the top 4 nationally in every contest. On the advisory committee for local high school automotive program and also a judge for local SkillsUSA contests. ASE certified Master Technician with advanced certificates in L1 and X1.

Kuykendall, Jay

Over 25 years of automotive repair experience and is still a "hands-on" technician at an independent repair shop. Jay specializes in drivability and electrical diagnostics. An Oregon State Advanced Emission Technician, and holds an AOS in Automotive and Diesel Technology. Teaches at the local community college and judges the yearly Oregon State Skills USA competition. Co-founded the Northwest Automotive Technicians Society as a way to bring technicians in his area together to share their knowledge and experience. ASE Master Auto and Truck Technician, has both L1 and L2 Certifications.

Lewis, Kris

Over 40 years in the auto industry, 38 years turning wrenches as a technician and as shop manager. Last 18 years, he devotes his time to computer diagnostics, drivability, and training. Has a handle on the pulse of real-world technician’s daily issues, by working on a technical support hotline (2004 – 2007), handled 15 to 20 “Diagnosis to Completion” calls per day. His unique way of putting things in layman’s terms has also helped him connect with the automotive consumer market through a nationally syndicated call-in radio show. Accolades include ASA-NJ – Shop of the Year, AASP-NJ – Rookie of the Year, and 2003 - present, recognized as a Master Trainer for Bosch/OTC Genisys and Pegisys. ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician with L1, A9, and C1 Certifications.

Machiros, Gary

Over 30 years of experience as an Automotive Technician. Operates a family-owned service station. Massachusetts State Certified Emissions Diagnosis and Repair Instructor. A contract instructor for General Motors and taught at the GM Training Center (in Dedham, MA) for 6 years. In 1996, taught internationally for Delta College, training technicians all over the world. Taught for JENDHAM, Inc. and the Automotive Training Group, Inc. for several years; currently teaching part-time for Corporate Customs for ATG. Has taught many courses including: Automotive Electrical and Electronics, Power Train Control Systems, Drivability Diagnosis, OBD II, Emissions Diagnosis, Lab Scope Usage, Scan Tool Diagnostics, Audio Systems, Air Bag Systems, and many other topics. ASE Master Technician, L1 certified along with other ASE certifications.

Mouradian, Wally

Over 35 years of automotive experience including working as a repair technician and owning a service station. He graduated from Denver Automotive and Diesel College in 1980. Wally is a member of the Service Technicians Society (STS) and served as Vice President of Automotive Service Association Broward County Chapter. He is also a representative for EASE Diagnostics. ASE Certified and L1 Certified Master Technician.

Parsons, Dean

Over 30 years of automotive repair experience working as a repair technician and service manager. Remains active as a repair technician in a shop, specializes in repairing difficult vehicles referred from other businesses. California Smog License and a certified California Smog Program Instructor. Recognized as a top technician by GM through the Delco Tech Program.

Dean’s training experience includes instructing for Snap-On, Sun Electric and Mitchell International teaching all of the drivability, electrical and Lab Scope programs. Travels extensively on the West Coast training for ATG. Graduated from Fullerton College with an AA Degree in Automotive and a graduate of the State of California Apprentice Program as a State Certified Mechanic. ASE Certified Master Technician and has completed L1.

Wellwood, Ross

Over 35 years of automotive experience as a repair technician, a shop owner and a trainer for Mitchell, Mac Tools, Precision Tune Auto Care and D.A.R.T.S. Wrote numerous training manuals and hosts the “Car Doctor” radio show (airing for over 12 years in Wilmington, DE). A certified member of the Delaware Emission Education Program and holds the first privately-issued certificate in the state. On the advisory council of numerous Vo-Tech schools in the state of Delaware. He specializes in high-end drivability diagnostics and automotive electronics. ASE Master Tech holding the L1 certification.
